Government Lakshmi Vilasam Lower Primary school ( GLVLPS) Kadampanad is one of the old Government School reaching 100 years old. School was started in the year of 1920 by Mr. Muthuswami, Thekkekkara Vrindavan Kadampanad from Viswakarma family and then it was undertaken by Government of Kerala in 1948 after the Independence of India. School was actively involved in community development in Kadampanad village and most of the students reached higher positions. Many of them graduated and holds prestigious positions. Schools alumni Comprises of Scientists, Engineers, Doctors, Teachers, Public Servants, Politicians, Business mans etc. School has developed a lot.
